 We offer practical advice on a variety of topics concerning the design, setup and operation of a restaurant. 
Chef Bernard, a native of Quebec, is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. He draws on his French Canadian heritage, for his cuisine and style.  
Bernard worked at restaurants in New York and Florida before settling on the South Shore.  His pre-culinary apprenticeship was with Chef Allen Susser in Florida. After graduation he worked for the Creative Gourmet, in Boston, at Saporito's in Hull and with Mario Noche of Terramia. He and his wife Shiela opened Bernard's in 1998 and the restaurant has since received wide acclaim in the region.
